I haven't blogged for what feels like aeons! It's just gone 11pm UK time and I've not long got home after a really good night out with 3 friends. Our agenda was business, the outcome was pure pleasure.
This week has been busy. A whirlwind of opportunites, learning, laughter, growth, giving, resolve and excitement. There's been tears too... the reports coming out of Niger and embarassingly, a programme I caught at lunchtime today on TV called Holiday of a Lifetime or something.
But the most exciting thing this week has been logging into the stats page for my new joint venture with nutritionist Lucy-Ann Prideaux and seeing our unique visits double! And within a week of going live, still in our 'soft launch' phase, memberships started selling - and what's more, we know exactly where the traffic is coming from - fantastic. See what you think... www.YeartoSlim.com
I've also been busy teaching and coaching 14 year olds about ebusiness and enterprise this week. What an amazing bunch they were. We had to choose a winning team at the end of the program and it was so hard to do because there were so many 'winners' to choose from. Two boys stood out for me in particular; sharp, intelligent, funny, switched on, friendly and courteous. So many people that find teenagers a bit scary. Can't they remember what it was like to be a teenager? There was nothing remotely scary about these kids. If I inspire them as much as they inspire me then I will die a very happy woman indeed.
Right lots I want to do tomorrow, so its off to bed now. Sleep tight whereever you are x
